AFM Biomed Summer School

First European Summer School on Theory and Practice of AFM in Life Sciences and Medicine

Marcoule -France 28 August - 3 September 2008

The AFM Biomed Summer School offers an introduction to Atomic Force Microscopy in Life Sciences and Medicine for Ph.D student, post-docs or young scientists. Lectures in the morning are complemented by hands-on experiments in the afternoon.
There are about 16 places for students doing hands-on experiments. These places will be given preferentially to European students. Participants are encouraged to send a CV and a motivation letter. AFM beginners are welcome.

The registration fee for the AFM Summer School is 650€ for academics including: the training divided into 6 different thematic sessions (more than 20 hours of courses), hands-on experiment, lunches, refreshments, accommodation and social event.
